Abercrombie Fall Favorites

Remember those middle school days when all the cool girls wore layered Abercrombie tanks and henleys with the iconic moose emblazoned near the same? Well, Abercrombie has certainly stepped its game up in the last few years.

The big moose logo is a thing of the past (for most of the items, at least), and Abercrombie offers more trendy, modern, and mature styles perfect for high schoolers, college students, and adults alike.

I’ve gotten some great pieces from Abercrombie in recent years (including my favorite sherpa pullover) and after browsing the website I wanted to share some of my favorite picks on their site now!

Abercrombie has been killing it with the dresses lately, like this midi dress I picked up recently. It’s a beautiful yellow color, almost mustardy, and it’s the first midi dress in my closet. I love how flattering it is! It’s not too tight but still skims the body perfectly, and has the perfect length slit to show off a bit of leg à la Angelina Jolie.

I also love this leopard print, satin, belted midi dress – I think satin is such a gorgeous fabric for wearing out during the fall and winter. This leopard print – almost a snow leopard print, really – is so on trend. It also comes in a beautiful brown color and black!

Abercrombie also has a number of mini dresses that I love – think elevated basics. The satin, cowl neck mini dress above is super on trend (cowl necks are EVERYWHERE, especially in satin), and I love the simplicity of the mock neck dress as well.

Going along with the satin and cowl neck theme, I found two adorable satin camis, one with a cowl neck and one with lace trim. Both would be so cute under a leather jacket for a night out. This satin button-up is to die for, too.

I like a nice, figure-flattering cut – tight but not so tight it’s impossible to get on and off. I like it to fit tight enough to be sexy for a night out, but not too tight to wear during the day with an oversized sweater and over the knee boots. I have a skirt really similar to this burgundy one that I bought from a boutique a few years ago and have worn it on so many occasions since. You really can’t go wrong with this skirt in your closet, in either the black or the burgundy color. Plus, thumbs up for faux leather!

My favorite selection from Abercrombie right now is definitely their coats and jackets. They have everything from denim jackets to teddy coats, suede moto jackets and more. I especially love this Cropped Oversize Denim Jacket with sherpa along the arms and shoulders. It’s a bit different than the typical sherpa-collared or sherpa-lined denim jacket, and would make a great jacket for transitioning from fall to winter. I’m also in love with this velvety puffer jacket – I love my Canada Goose parka, but this would be super cute for something a bit more understated yet still trendy during the colder months. It also comes in sherpa styles!
