Surprise! Sephora is having another big sale beginning next week. VIB Rouge members will receive 20% off their orders, while VIB and Beauty Insiders will receive 15% off. I thought I’d round up some of the items in my cart that I’m thinking about picking up during this sale in case any of you are looking for a little inspiration!
Sephora’s sales are the perfect time to pick up high-priced items, restock favorites, and try new products you’ve had your eye on but haven’t taken the plunge to buy yet. I’ve had my eye on Olaplex products for a while, namely the No. 3 Hair Perfector. This 10-minute hair mask supposedly works wonders on damaged, color-treated hair, and I may pick this up with the hope that it will help manage my hair when it’s growing out and in need of a cut.
I’m also interested in trying the Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme. I have multiple smoothing creams cluttering my bathroom counter, but none of them really work wonders for my hair. They either weigh down my hair like crazy, making it hard to brush, or the product disappears completely after my hair dries. I’ve heard a few beauty YouTubers rave about the Olaplex styling creme.
For skincare, I’m super intrigued by the Tan Luxe Super Glow Hyaluronic Self-Tanning Serum. I’m not sure if I’ll pick it up this sale since I do have a bottle of the original face serum to go through, but I’m really intrigued by the idea of a self-tanning serum with the added skincare benefits of hyaluronic acid. Plus, this serum doesn’t need to be mixed into moisturizer, from what I’ve gathered. Added points for ease of use!
I’m definitely going to pick up the Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Water. I’ve long been a St. Tropez devotee, but I’ve seen so many bloggers rave about the Isle of Paradise mist. I do really like how easy mist tanners are – just spray on, rub in with a mitt, and you’re good to go. I’m going to pick this up in the medium shade.
I recently ran out of the mini Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask that I received months ago in a beauty subscription box. This is by far the best clay mask I’ve ever used! It leaves my pores clean as a whistle and doesn’t have any of those annoying clumps like the Glam Glow masks seem to have. This one is pricey, though, and it seems to only come in one size.
Since I recently decluttered my Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry palette, I may pick up the Kaja Beauty Bento Bouncy Shimmer Eyeshadow Trio in Rosewater. I really like the look of pinky shades on my blue eyes, especially in the summer. These trios are decently priced and seem to have a really nice formula based on the swatches I’ve seen.
Finding a good spot concealer has proven itself to be very difficult for me, mainly because the shade needs to match the skin on my face and whatever foundation I may or may not be wearing. Since I typically only really conceal my undereyes, I tend to pick up concealers that are a shade or two lighter than the rest of my complexion. I’m looking into picking up the Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer for spot concealing purposes. I’ve heard this is comparable to Tarte Shape Tape, which I’ve yet to try, but I love that thick, liquid consistency for a spot concealer – plus, I love a nice oversized doe foot applicator. I’m currently using the NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer in Creme Brûlée for spots or post-acne scarring on my face, but it tends to be a bit too dark when I don’t have a tan on. I highly recommend the NARS one to anyone looking for a new concealer, though!
Looking for some recommendations? Some of my all-time favorite Sephora purchases have been the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, the Dior BACKSTAGE Face & Body Foundation, and Drunk Elephant’s T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial. Check out some of my past beauty round-ups here, here, here, and here!
